BRACED | Building Resilience and Capacities for Emerging Disaster
The BRACED project was developed by Habitat International through collaborative partnerships with local actors, specifically local ADRA staff, key informants at all levels of government and the Portmore Municipality. It is funded through United States Agency International Development (USAID) and is schedule to be in operation over a 33 months period.
A community project is a term applied to any community-based project. This covers a wide variety of different areas within a community or a group of networking entities. Projects can cover almost anything, including the most obvious section of concern to any community, the welfare element. Jam-Habitat is working with the 3 targeted community to develop projects that will benefit residents from a DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction) approach.
